ADVANCED STUDY PROGRAM

What does it consist on

The goal is to offer a systematic presentation of specific topics in Mahayana Buddhism so that practitioners can deepen their knowledge and experience.

The program will consist of the following five topics based on the sutra teachings of the Buddha and corresponding commentaries written by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso:

  • The stages of the path to enlightenment, based on the commentary The joyful path of good fortune.
  • Mind training, based on feedback Universal Compassion and Nine Eight Steps to Happiness.
  • The Heart Sutra, based on the commentary New heart of wisdom.
  • Guide to the Bodhisattva Works, based on the commentary Treasure of contemplation.
  • Minds Classes, based on comment  How to understand the mind.

the venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso is a fully realized meditation master, a renowned teacher of Buddhism, and the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition (NKT-IKBU).
